A whole new meaning to the word tag

In the DJ Forum, DJ.J.ROCK came up with the idea of a tag team of eSnips DJs – in his words:

"...I WANTED TO BRING E-SNIPPERS TOGETHER, ALL ON ONE TRACK, ALL THESE PEOPLE FROM AROUND THE WORLD, WITH DIFFERENT VIEWS INTO THE MUSIC WORLD...I THOUGHT "WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN" SO I PRESENTED THE IDEA OF THE PROJECT, AND I GOT A GREAT RESPONSE!!!

(TECHNICALLY) THE FIRST PERSON MIXES TWO TRACKS, AND UPLOADS, THE NEXT PERSON DOWNLOADS AND ADDS TWO TRACKS (ONE IN TO THE MIX AND ONE OUT OF THE MIX) AND THEY LET THE LAST TRACK PLAY OUT FOR THE PERSON BEHIND THEM TO MIX IN….THEN THEY UPLOAD, AND ON TO THE NEXT.DJ!!!

ITS FUN TO ADD YOUR BIT TO THE PERSON THAT JUST FINISHED, AND THEN WAIT TO HEAR WHAT THE NEXT DJ DOES YOUR SOUNDS…WE ARE ALSO KEEPING TRACK OF THE MILES THE MIX TRAVLES …WHICH IS PRETTY COOL TOO!

THEIR ARE SO MANY PERSPECTIVES OF THIS NOT JUST MUSIC, US AS E-SNIPPERS ARE CREATING A NEW LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING INTO THE MUSIC WE ALL STRIVE TO CREATE!!! AND HOW WE GO ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE NEW SOUNDS OR MUSICAL ART! WE GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER ON A MUSICAL LEVEL,, KINDA LIKE A SECOND LIFE!! THE VIBE IN THE MUSIC JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER..."

10,000 DJs!!

Yesterday the 10,000th DJ joined the DJC (aka the DJ Community) and we're simply amazed.  It was only a few months ago that this community had less than 100 DJs! 

So, to all you DJs - thanks for making eSnips your online home!

Elvis all over the world

It's a bit of a cliche - ok, maybe a lot of a cliche (LOL) - but music touches people like nothing else can...

There are Elvis impersonators from every walk of life, in every corner of the globe, male and female, because they love his music. (and just maybe they like the clothes, too! ;)  )

We have quite a few of them here, and other just plain folk who love to sing Elvis Karaoke.

The 30th anniversary of his death has come and gone - whether you know he's really gone, or are convinced he is living in Florida, you can listen to some fabulous interpretations of his music

Wear your stuff!

We’ve recently partnered with Zazzle, a company specializing in custom printing on everything from t-shirts to mugs.  This means that you can now get any image you have uploaded to eSnips printed on whatever you want, and have it shipped to you. 

How to do it?  First, log into your eSnips account. Underneath your picture, you’ll see a new set of options: Print picture on: shirt, mouse pad, mug and sticker. Clicking on one of these will take you to the Zazzle site, where the t-shirt with your image will be displayed. You can then customize it a bit more by choosing the color of the t-shirt, adding text… whatever you want.

Right now, this service is only offered for stuff that you have uploaded.  We think that it’s only fair to let only you print your stuff. If you think differently about this, please let us know.
