eSnips closes funding round

I wanted to share the good news with you - we announced today that we closed a funding round! You can read more about it on Yael's blog and on TechCrunch.

Photography Week - Update

Just wanted to let all you photographers know that we've decided to push back the special Photography Spotlight by a week. 
We're launching a great community-oriented feature next week and would like to give it and our photography community our full attention.
There's still time to let me know if you'd like to participate in this special week, just drop me a line.

Next Spotlight Week on eSnips: Photography Week!

It's time for another Spotlight Week on eSnips!
Our previous two Spotlight Weeks; Open Studio and Karaoke Contest focused on two very creative communities on eSnips and were lots of fun. We're continuing with this tradition and next week we will hold a "Photography Week" that will put the spotlight on the amazing photographers who publish and share their art on eSnips.
During this week a selection of photographers and their work will be featured on the eSnips Homepage and each photograph will link directly to the photographer's folder.
If you'd like us to add you to the list of photographers who will participate in this week, please drop me a line.

Alex's unique photography from around the world

I just finished looking at all the photographs in Alex's Photography folder. Wow!

Alex is a "… photographer with a big passion for culture, wildlife and underwater photography." His photos are unique, colorful and interesting, and I'm usually not very fond of insects :-)

Red's great music and story

I came across Red's (her real name is Donna) music recently and just loved listening to her voice. She has several folders with her recordings, such as her Duets, her karaoke covers and even her original music, and it was a pleasure listening to all of them. I strongly recommend you check them out.

I loved how you described yourself on your profile, Red, and I agree that there are redheads that do not have a "fiery disposition" - I'm a proud mother of one :-)
I was extremely moved by the video you dedicated to your father (Daddy's Hands Video) and by the video you made for your daughter (Above the Clouds - 3).
